Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively maintain and troubleshoot new and existing plant equipment while working with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC’s, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe operation. Follow proper Lock out Tag Out procedures.
  • Assist with planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance projects. Ensure equipment PM’s are tracked and completed per schedule.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors as needed for repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Source needed components and/or vendors to facilitate equipment repairs. Maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers in the development and construction of new jigs, fixtures, or automation equipment.
  • Demonstrates familiarity and consistently complies with lean and ISO standards and practices.
  • Use maintenance support systems plan, track, and evaluate work.
  • Completes work assignments in accordance with all safety procedures, work rules, policies, and specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/maintenance technician environment
  • Experience with Maintenance Tracking Software

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be Forklift certified
