RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support work to build, improve, and promote container and automation processes following DevOps practices
• Tasks assigned may be a mix of software development, scripting, and infrastructure systems administration activities
• Projects may include:
  • Configuring, developing, and supporting Container systems like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configuring, developing, and supporting Automation systems like Ansible and Terraform

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Must currently be enrolled in either:

• A two-year technical degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026
  • Preferred field of study in Network or System Administration
    OR
• A Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2027
  • Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Business/Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude

DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:

• This internship will report in person to Duluth, MN
• This role is expected to begin May/June 2025
• The internship will be part time during Spring with the possibility of extending to full time during Summer, and continuing part time during academic terms up until graduation
  ALLETE will comply with college requirements
• Hours and duration are subject to change based on company need

BENEFITS:
