The Community Banking Team Lead directs a lending team with a focus on the Bank’s CRA efforts. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced work environment while staying focused on details.
What You’ll Do
Meet with clients to review their borrowing needs, maximizing client relationships across Bank departments
Review loan requests for credit following regulations, policies, and procedures as well as oversee and guide staff on accurately reviewing credit requests
Manage current loan portfolio to ensure Bank’s risk exposure remains low
Develop individual and team goals, ensuring these are measurable and attained
Coach and train employees, monitoring performance and ensuring a growth and development plan is in place
Develop relationships with vendors
Train retail staff on community loan product features, functionality and benefits
Participate in projects to ensure continued process improvement in small business and CRA lending
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field
Minimum 7 years’ experience working in community banking environment with at least 5 years’ supervising others
Strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced technical knowledge with a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $117, 000-$158, 000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
