The Community Banking Team Lead directs a lending team with a focus on the Bank’s CRA efforts. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced work environment while staying focused on details.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with clients to review their borrowing needs, maximizing client relationships across Bank departments

  • Review loan requests for credit following regulations, policies, and procedures as well as oversee and guide staff on accurately reviewing credit requests

  • Manage current loan portfolio to ensure Bank’s risk exposure remains low

  • Develop individual and team goals, ensuring these are measurable and attained

  • Coach and train employees, monitoring performance and ensuring a growth and development plan is in place

  • Develop relationships with vendors

  • Train retail staff on community loan product features, functionality and benefits

  • Participate in projects to ensure continued process improvement in small business and CRA lending

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working in community banking environment with at least 5 years’ supervising others

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced technical knowledge with a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $117, 000-$158, 000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
