We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Network Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Network Analyst position at United Bank plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining network hardware, software, and connectivity across all business permissions, and ensuring the secure and efficient use of software applications. The role also supports IT compliance initiatives, develops and maintains user documentation, and acts as a key resource for staff in the effective use of systems and Microsoft 365. The Network Analyst may lead or assist with employee training, evaluating new technologies, and recommending improvements to IT operations. This position may also be assigned special projects that enhance or extend department services.

Desired Skills:

This position requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience or combination of both;
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training;
  • Must have a general working knowledge of Microsoft’s applications and operating system, networking ideology and troubleshooting skills;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint is preferred, but not required;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel;
  • Utilizing hands & arms;
  • Ability to talk & hear.
