Description:

The Corporate Quality Manager will drive global standardization of the Tempel QMS for all divisions. This individual will also be a resource to assist the divisions with their continuous improvement initiatives while establishing a companywide best practices process. **This role can be remote as long as the person can travel up to 25%. We are open to Quality Engineers who are ready for the next step in their careers. The person should have IATF experience with a background within the automotive industry.
  • Experience in preparing and developing engineering documentation including PFMEA

    Control Plans

    and PPAP
  • Experience in developing sampling plans by applying attribute

    variable

    and sequential sampling methods.
  • Support divisional improvements projects to increase productivity and quality

    including supporting Lean Manufacturing projects and Six-Sigma projects.
  • Develop a global corporate best practice data base with a standardize cadence to share with the entire organization
  • Support the Division's high impacting corrective and preventative measures in response to customer concerns or complaints.
  • Assist in developing a global culture of continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering

    Mechanical Engineering

    or Materials Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years' work experience in a Quality Engineer job role or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the development of PFMEA and Control Plans preferred.
  • Previous experience with Lean and Six Sigma Process (Six Sigma Green Belt training preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of prints reading tolerance stack-up (GD& T) and Gage R& R
  • Experience with Steel material testing process preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Statistical Analysis programs are a plus)
  • Experience with an ERP system; ability to easily extract data (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience with IATF and ISO quality standards
