School Social Worker

Job Description:

Currently, we're hiring a Social Worker to work at a school in Walled Lake, Michigan. As a Social Worker with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Social Worker working in a school setting.

Social Worker Contract Details:

• $50.95 - $54.85 per hour
• 42-week contracts
• Social Worker will be promoting the general well-being of students
• Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
• Offering mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
• Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social work
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license must meet position requirements.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred
