SRG Global is looking for a Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team in Troy, Michigan!

Your Job

Are you interested in regulatory compliance? Do you enjoy working with cross-functional teams to guide and support product-related chemical issues? Does your experience include partnering with EHS and other departments to ensure accurate and complete documentation to demonstrate compliance? If so, this may be the right opportunity for you!

What You Will Do
  • Ensure compliance with current global chemical regulatory programs ((US TSCA, US FIFRA, EU REACH, CLP, AICS, etc.)
  • Propose recommendations on emerging and future regulatory changes and assess impacts to affected capabilities/ sites
  • Monitor, collaborate, implement compliance plans and communicate on global emerging chemical issues in Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance
  • Assist in the registration and maintenance of existing and new product categories, within the US and international markets
  • Ensure relevant data is accurate and easily accessible/manageable
  • Identify gaps related to product stewardship capability, knowledge, and engagement; continue to build and improve the product stewardship program
  • Identify, design, lead, and implement improvements to data within IMDS and the material data sheet (MDS) process
  • Participate in external advocacy projects and industry groups to stay informed about regulatory trends and advocate for our business needs


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or a related role within the automotive or chemical industry
  • Global chemical regulations and standards experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field
  • Experience working with plating, painting, and injection molding processes
  • Automotive experience
