SRG Global is looking for an Accounting & Reporting Manager to join our team in Troy, MI!

You will join a principled based team that continuously challenges the status quo. Collaborating with multiple functions within operations, development, and transformative capabilities to create mutual benefit.

What You Will Do

Oversight of third-party service providers: manage and optimize services provided by third party providers to ensure performance, collaboration with internal team and alignment with the vision.

Supervisory Duties: manage an accounting professional, including performance evaluations, mentoring, and day-to-day supervision.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.

Month-End Close: Manage the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Budget Management: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts; monitor financial performance and report on variances.

Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Audit Coordination: Lead the preparation for external audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations; ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in accounting or financial management roles
  • Experience with outsourcing administrative functions to third-party vendors
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in managing a team of accounting professionals
  • CPA or CMA
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues
