Description:

What You'll Do
  • Gather design inputs from Project Managers, Sales, and customers.
  • Create product designs using SolidWorks.
  • Check CAD models and drawings to ensure they meet CTI engineering standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and customers.
  • Design products that meet Scope of Work, target part weight, and manufacturability guidelines.
  • Ensure designs are completed on time and within project requirements.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of your work.


What You Bring - Experience, Skills & Education
Required
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school
  • 3+ years of related experience/training
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, regulations, and business communications.
  • Ability to write reports and communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, and managers.
  • Ability to apply basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and statistical concepts to real situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to understand technical instructions in diagrams or mathematical form.
  • Strong SolidWorks proficiency and ability to create high‑quality CAD models.
  • Training or experience in injection molding, tooling, design processes, and print reading.
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.


Preferred
  • Experience designing products for injection molding.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or tooling environment.
