We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Engineering Manager to lead our team of managers and engineers in developing high-speed interconnect and cable assembly solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of successful product development, and the potential to lead a broader organization.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and manage a team of managers and engineers in the design, development, and implementation of high-speed interconnect and cable assembly solutions for Transportation applications, specifically high-speed data applications
  • Drive evolution of product development/function, creating customer value in line with requirements, and fulfill cost, timing and reliability goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and successful product launches
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and reliability
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our products remain competitive and meet customer needs
  • Identify and coach to areas of opportunity to promote growth, mentorship, development and success
  • Be an advocate and driver for our Principle Based Management culture


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in engineering
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge in interconnect solutions
  • Proven knowledge of regulatory standards and processes (USCAR, ISO, SAE, IEC)
  • Knowledge of analysis tools such as FEA (Ansys Mechanical, Abaqus, etc.), NX, Creo
  • Knowledge of AQP methods
  • Capable of establishing credibility, mutual respect, and authority within the functional groups
  • Proven experience in technical project management, with a track record of delivering successful projects
