Position Details Position Type: Temporary (24 Month Assignment)Pay Rate: $16.00 per hourSchedule: Full-TimeLocation: 180 Carl Ave, Battle Creek MI In-Office What Youll Do As the Temporary Office Administrative Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping office operations running smoothly while supporting staff, tenants, and community stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors, and community partners in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer and direct agency phone calls while providing excellent customer serviceReceive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesMaintain daily receipt logs and administrative tracking systems with accuracy and confidentialityCoordinate office operations and assist in maintaining efficient workflows and proceduresTroubleshoot minor office equipment issues and coordinate service requests when neededEnsure office common areas remain clean, organized, and professionalProvide clerical and administrative support including scheduling, filing, scanning, data entry, correspondence, and document preparationAssist with maintaining records, databases, compliance documentation, and confidential filesSupport Management operations through administrative coordination and tenant communication assistanceAssist with notices, memos, internal communications, and departmental projectsTrack deadlines, follow-up items, and priorities to support efficient department operationsAssist with audits, compliance reviews, accreditation preparation, and special initiativesMaintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information What Were Looking For Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma required, additional education in Office Administration or related field preferredMinimum of 23 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experienceStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional demeanor with excellent customer service abilitiesAbility to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applicationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
