Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is looking for an Analytics & Operational Excellence Specialist to join the Commercial Excellence & Business Transformation Department.

The Commercial Excellence & Business Transformation Department helps develop high value-added projects for our clients, provide in-depth market analysis and intelligence to support business strategy, and coordinate primary and secondary market research.

The Analytics & Operational Excellence Specialist provides 360-degree operational support to the other members of the Business Intelligence team, with the goal of integrating analytical expertise into the business, identifying and grounding value-added projects for other business functions, leveraging analytical and data-driven solutions.

The Analytics & Operational Excellence Specialist is familiar with advanced reporting tools (e.g., Qlik).

The person we are looking for must be able to manage the construction and presentation of numerical/statistical reports and analyses and then be able to translate those analyses into recommendations for subsequent action plans.

In detail, the Analytics & Operational Excellence Specialist is responsible for the following activities:

Business Analytics & Operations

  • Leverages insights from CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system for appropriate customer segmentation;
  • Collaborates with BIMs (Business Intelligence Managers) to define needs related to the CRM system and prepares all data analysis to measure the business impact of different business activities;
  • Participates operationally in the construction of "Product Dashboards" and in automating processes wherever possible;

Sales Force Sizing & Effectiveness

  • Supports the internal stakeholder in the development of planning and methodologies to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the Field Force;
  • Supports the internal stakeholder in the sizing and geographical allocation of the Field Force by providing specific analyses and simulations, using dedicated tools;

Process Improvement and Change Management

  • Provides methodological and analytical support to BIMs;
  • Actively promotes the culture of "sharing best practices"

Health care compliance and Pharmacovigilance:

  • Ensures compliance with all company procedures;
  • Prepares Pharmacovigilance documentation related to the activation of market research and any ad hoc projects;
  • Ensures that pharmacovigilance requirements for reporting adverse events or product quality complaints are met as defined by company policies and procedures, and that these requirements are met in project planning, material development, project execution, and contracting activities to third parties (vendors);
  • Ensures that it fully understands HCC and legal requirements (e.g., Fair Market Value rules, Transfer of Value, etc.) and complies with them in project planning, materials development, project execution, and contracting activities to third parties (vendors);
  • Ensures the necessary preparation for any inspections/checks, for example regarding the completion of the assigned trainings, the availability of an updated CV and the Job Description of the position.

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Background:

- Bachelor's degree in economics/statistics or similar

- 3+ years of experience in similar roles and environment

Language skills:
-Proficiency of English and Italian language

Computer skills:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and especially Excel - required

- Knowledge of advanced reporting applications (e.g., Qlik) - required

- Knowledge of Advanced Analytics tools and languages (e.g., Python, SQL) – preferred

Additional skills:

- Strong skills in collecting, measuring, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data

- Passion and curiosity in learning and using new analytical solutions

- Knowledge of the basic concepts of Commercial Excellence and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems;

- Knowledge of basic concepts of process transformation, change management and innovation;

- Project management and problem-solving skills.

- Accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to write reports, summaries and public speaking

- Strong attitude to collaborative work in a matrix organization

The work location will be Milano (MI), with the possibility of international travel.
