Description:
GENERAL ROLEThe Junior IT System Administrator will be mainly involve resolving user issues by phone, remote access and onsite. He/She will deploying new devices, managing active directory accounts, deploying Security patches and creating IT procedures for users.
The perimeter covers Italy and Greece for a total of 12 Stores, 4 Warehouses and 2 Headquarters.
As consequence travels are required. The role will be based in the Milano Head office.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES -Provide an excellent level of support and communication to 350 users across 2 Countries and 14 Sites.
- Qualify and resolve user issues in an accurate timely manner;
- Configure and deploy new equipment (laptops, desktops, iOS devices, printers and retail devices);
- Debugging depending on applications/hardware errors. Testing activities for workaround or problem fixing;
- Create "how to" guide for common end-users' issues;
- IT Security: Monitoring and deployment of security patches on different company's assets;
- -Manage Active Directory accounts;
- -Maintain inventory of user devices;
- -Liaise with external suppliers and Headquarter IT teams based in Paris;
- IT inductions to newcomers.
PROFILE - Bachelor Degree, preferably with an IT focus;
- Fluency in Italian and English. French will be considered an advantage;
- Professional background: At least 1/2 years of experience in a similar role, understanding of IT processes apply to Retail is a plus;
- Good level of experience of users supporting;
- Office Support (Microsoft Windows, Office 365 application, Active directory);
- TCP/IP networking / Wi-Fi understanding;
- iOS devices and MDM Management;
- Good Cybersecurity awareness;
- Methodical and logical approach, problem-solving skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- "Can do" attitude;
- Even-tempered with ability to continuously multitask;
- Eager to grow;
- Able to collaborate & adapt to different level of IT knowledge within the company;
- Ability to work under own initiative and part of a team.
