Job Summary
The Senior Relationship Manager manages corporate banking loan relationships of all levels of complexity. Generates new business and relationships that will produce revenue from companies, sponsors, and businesses. Generates deal flow directly from these clients/prospects and orchestrating a team approach to the relationship. The position is supported by product specialists, portfolio managers (credit, underwriting, transaction approvals/processing) and operational support specialists but remains accountable for all aspects of the relationship. Responsible for the origination, negotiation, structuring, pricing, underwriting, and closing of loans. Manages a complex Corporate loan portfolio ensuring the highest loan quality for the organization with minimal risk. Manages the on-going monitoring of portfolio quality and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:
- New Business Origination: Responsible for new business development and relationship management with mid-cap and large corporate companies in a target geographic territory. Position is largely greenfield in nature and banker will be expected to develop a portfolio of clients by actively mining target companies in the geographic territory. Position will be focused on generating new business that focuses on the entire banking relationship; Coordinates theteamapproach to approving and closing new deals to grow assets and revenues whileoptimizingprofitability (ROE).
- Credit Quality and Onboarding: Works with assigned portfolio managers to ensure pro-active monitoring of the credit quality of the portfolio throughtimelyfinancial statement gathering, monitoringclient's compliance with ongoing required reporting, properly analyzing financialinformationand taking or recommendingappropriate correctiveactions based on acceptable levels.Ultimately responsiblefor managing thebanksrisk exposure to acceptable levels.Collaborating with Credit team and outside counsel as needed to prepare credit approval documents andmanagingonboarding process to ensure transactions are booked appropriately.
- Relationship Management: Works with assigned portfolio managers, engage with borrowers on idea generation and relevantopportunities to expand our relationship.
- MaintainingKnowledge: Stays abreast of industry trends and conditions in the capital markets that couldimpactthe assigned portfolio of relationships and borrowers.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
- Analyzes and resolves problems.

Required Qualifications:
- Education levelrequired: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)in business, financeor related field.
- Minimum experiencerequired: 10+ Yearsof experience as a Corporate Banker
Preferred Qualifications:
- Securities licenses

- Expert analytical skills to understand financial and cash flow analyses.
- Highly developed negotiation skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding and proven acumen in the Capital Markets and Corporate Finance
- Experienceutilizinga calling strategy to actively call on prospects/clients andestablishapersonally-developednetwork of clients and potential clients to source deals through various centers of influence.
- ComputerproficiencyinMicrosoft Office applicationsincluding; Word and Excel.
