CM Operator

FEMA Corporation has an opening for a 2nd Shift CNC Operator in Component Manufacturing. The department is looking for motivated team players willing to contribute immediately. The ideal candidate would possess a two-year degree in Machine Tool Technology, equivalent or willingness to obtain degree as well as two years of experience with CNC machining. Demonstrated leadership ability, teamwork, and desire for growth preferred. Regular work hours are Monday Thursday, 3: 30PM 2: 00AM with availability for overtime as needed. This is an entry level position. Eventually operators will be trained on the following skills: CNC Operator Machine startup, machine setup, changing tools, performing offsets, preventative maintenance, measurement/inspection capabilities (reading and understanding measurement instructions, measuring parts using micrometers, calipers, etc.), work cell cleanliness. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Computer Knowledge SPC software (InfinityQS), FEMAnet, MPLUS, TPCL, Daily Production Reporting, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Communication Strong ability to communicate issues and problems effectively through the proper channels.
