Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Dundee, MI
Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 3-2-2-3 schedule (3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)
Hours: 7: 00 AM – 7: 30 PM
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Clean Tech is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our recycling facility in Dundee, Michigan. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and clear opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Position Summary

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment used in the plastic recycling process. This role requires strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal production performance

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime

  • Execute and continuously improve preventive maintenance procedures

  • Support equipment changeovers to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards

  • Participate in ongoing training with a defined path for advancement

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment

  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical knowledge

  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a plus

  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, team-based environment
