Binson's Medical Equipment & Supplies is hiring a Respiratory Equipment Specialist in Flint, MI. This is a full-time position.

The Role: To support patients by assisting with the selection and purchase of respiratory supplies, while providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional environment. This includes processing transactions, managing inventory, and ensuring all orders are accurately generated with proper documentation and insurance verification. Schedule: MondayFriday | 8: 30 AM - 5: 00 PM What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 12 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a medical office settingFamiliarity with basic medical terminology and medical insurance processes is a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of empathy and patienceSkilled with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory software What Youll Be Doing Greet customers, assess their medical equipment needs, and recommend appropriate products.Instruct patients and caregivers on the safe and proper use, care, and maintenance of their durable medical equipment.Collect and verify patient demographics, prescriptions, and insurance information.Review physician orders for equipment set upsSet up CPAP, BiPAP, and related respiratory equipmentEducate patients on proper use, mask fitting, cleaning, and maintenance Demonstrate equipment operation and answer patient questionsEnsure patients understand compliance requirements and follow-up proceduresAccurately document patient information, equipment serial numbers, and setup detailsTroubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed Perks & Benefits Competitive payFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & Life InsurancePaid time off + floating holiday401(k) Retirement Savings PlanTraining and growth opportunities
