Description:
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Quality Expert to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data assets. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data quality strategies, establishing data quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that data is fit for purpose and supports informed decision-making.
Job Description: - Conduct thorough data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and anomalies.
- Define data quality rules and validation checks. Establish, and maintain a data quality framework.
- Perform regular data audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data quality standards.
- Coordinates creation of Dashboards for Data Health Monitoring
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
- Approves, prioritizes & leads Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans
- Is well versed with common Data Quality issues and respective mitigation approach.
- Has extensive experience in Data Profiling, Data Analysis, Data Discovery, and Source to Target mapping processes.
- Experience with data quality tools and technologies (Informatica Data Quality)
- Experience with SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Is aware of industry best practices for setting up Data Quality standards and maintenance of Data Health
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, business users and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and address data quality concerns.
- Appreciates the people, processes as well as technology aspects of Data Governance and must be aware of various components (or sub-practices) within Data Governance, e.g., Data Governance culture, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management
- Has knowledge of data related regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues that impact enterprise data governance
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data lineage and familiarity with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). [Preferred]
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R). [Preferred]
QualificationsBE/MBA with 9-10 years of experience; other qualification with higher relevant experience
