Description:

Insights & Analytics Lead is a pivotal role acting as the bridge between complex business challenges and high-impact analytical solutions. You will lead a specialized team, to design, develop & deploy analytics products that drive decision-making across the Greater India Zone. Beyond technical delivery, you will be responsible for operationalizing the analytics vision, ensuring strict adherence to global governance standards & elevating the organization's data maturity.

Lead the execution of the country's analytics vision by defining priorities, shaping the roadmap & ensuring delivery of impactful insights aligned with business goals, build and coach a capable team, and drive governance, documentation, value realization, adoption, and data maturity across the Greater India zone. You will engage with Business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Service, CCC, C& SQ, Strategy, Finance, Manufacturing, and R& D and partner with D& P teams & SE Digital/AI Hub for platform/tool and automation initiatives.

Solution portfolio includes: PDF/PPT insight reports, Tableau insight dashboards, email-based insight alerts, scenario-planning simulators, and new analytics solution formats as they emerge.

Core Responsibilities:

(1) Strategy & Discovery: Lead business discovery sessions with business to translate complex requirements into a prioritized analytics roadmap, measurable KPIs & functional BRDs.

(2) Advanced Solution Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of dashboards (Tableau), automated alerts, scenario-planning simulators or any AI/ML use cases based on demand. Drive the shift from descriptive reporting to Predictive/Prescriptive analytics.

(3) Governance & Data Maturity: Enforce "Data Golden Rules" and robust documentation (lineage, logic, UAT). Own and improve India's scores in the Data Maturity Assessment.

(4) Value Realization: Quantify and track the business impact/ROI of all local use cases using global frameworks; communicate these achievements to senior leadership.

(5) Data Cataloguing, Platform Adoption, Tableau Governance:

- Cataloguing: Ensure all assets are localized and maintained in the Global Data Catalog.

- IDS: Spearhead migration and adoption of the Intel DS (IDS) platform.

- Manage platform administration, security, and global best practices.

(6) Operations & Support: Manage SLAs, data refresh cycles & incident resolution for all active analytical use cases.

Experience
  • Overall 12-15 Years Experience
  • 10-12 Years in any Business Functions
  • 3-5 Years in Insights/Analytics/BI with hands-on delivery and team leadership experience
  • Proven ability to turn business problems into analytics solutions with measurable value
Business & Leadership
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management with senior leadership, peers, and global/local Data Office teams
  • Clear communication and storytelling with data
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Nice to have: MBA; Certifications in Analytics/BI/Data (e.g., Tableau/PowerBI, SQL, Informatica, Analytics, data governance/data management)
