What you will do Agility and reliability are essential elements to navigate the dynamic and unpredictable nature of the supply chain.
The Material Supply Management Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and agility of our supply chain, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support our business goals. He/she would define, implement and track the right material strategy by collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver service, inventory, resiliency and cost.
His/her key responsibilities will include:
- Being the interface with suppliers for all materials related topics with close collaboration with cross-functional teams, which may include representation from Plan, Source, Deliver, Internal and External manufacturing sites, R& D, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and Finance
- Establishing strong cooperative relationships with suppliers to improve communication, share critical information and to ensure KPIs such as sOTIF and compliance are met, while driving root cause investigation and continuous improvement
- D efining & driving materials planning strategy, including alternative plans to mitigate and anticipate high probability risks, define inventory levels and operating models with suppliers
- Ensuring materials availability for the mid to long-term horizon and facilitating resolution of structural gaps in availability
- Lead crisis management forum and support/facilitate material allocation when required and communicate materials risks to relevant stakeholders
What we are looking for - Bachelor ' s degree, MBA or equivalent is a plus
- 7 years ' experience in one or more relevant functions including Planning, Source, Engineering, R& D, Quality Assurance or Supply Chain Operations
- Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software, inventory optimization techniques and data analysis tools
- Proactive thinker and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate business objective into concrete action plans
- A solid understanding of business priorities, and proficient in marketplace dynamics, processes, tools within Supply Chain while maintaining excellent customer focus are required
- Ability to influence at all levels within the Supply Chain & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally
- Able to see the big pictures as well as deep dive into the details in both execution and systems
- Ability to communicate and present clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms
- Proficient user of MS Office applications
