Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced leader to lead our Global MedTech Commercial data domain modelling. This person will work under the mentorship of the MedTech Global data Strategy Leader to modernize our commercial data platforms and analysis systems, giving MedTech new intelligence, integration, and digital abilities. The improved system will build a unified data model and boost commercial capabilities, while also reducing our dependence on old systems and end-end simplification.

This role involves owning the execution, and deployment of MedTech' s data platform Domain driven plans. The candidate will have a deep knowledge of MedTech areas, and a solid grasp of Domain driven Architecture.

This position will have to work covering all regions time zones. This position is durational based for 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Domain driven Architecture.
• Owns Entity Models (relationship) for all the concerned domain & subject area entities.
• Proficient with Commercial and Strategic insights needs (insight capabilities)
• Establishes standards and guidelines for Data Modelling (encouraged to have familiarity with 3NF, BCNF, Erwin)
• Ensures Business Capabilities are met through data models. Reviews and approves data models changes.
• Owns definition preparation and alignment in all regions for associated Business including common regional needs.
• Works actively with regional partners (business, platform, source systems owners etc.)
• Supports peers (for other regions) in aligning common standards globally
• Hands on working with data, with specific nuances and rationale
• Leadership Excellence: Leading without influence is critical to be successful in this role.
• Product and Platform Development and Improvement for the domains: Lead all aspects of the design, development, and modernization of Data ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Innovative Research: Stay ahead of with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, modern data, and analytical platforms, and their applications in MedTech to drive continuous innovation.
• Data Quality, Integrity, and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of data quality, privacy, and security, adhering to relevant healthcare regulations.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with business partners, the Global Data Platform Manager, Strategic Partners, and IT teams to deliver and deploy roadmaps.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the program.
• Organizational Change and Communications are essential for this position.

Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, with proficiency in Azure and AWS cloud services, as well as modern data platforms.
• Possesses over 12 years of experience in IT, extensive experience with Data modelling within the Life Sciences industry.
• Preferably has multi-functional experience in Commercial, R& D, and Supply Chain.
• A proven record in leading successful large scale & groundbreaking programs.
• Highlights strong leadership and team management skills.
• Possesses superb communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.
• Embraces an innovative and forward-looking attitude.
