About the Role:
As the Commercial Supply Chain Supervisor – Customer Service (remote) you will be responsible for ensuring that timely and accurate day-to-day transactions are completed by the Customer & Supply Chain Specialists, Administrators, and Assistants. You will be the escalation point for any problems or issues and the direct link to the Commercial Manager.

You will provide leadership and coaching to the Customer and Supply Chain team members, ensuring each responsibility has a trained backup process in place and that the team can be agile and work seamlessly in a changing environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to provide backup and support to the Commercial Manager as required.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Commercial Manager in driving regional initiatives and pursuing global alignment opportunities;
  • Supervise and support multiple Commercial Supply Chain Specialists, Administrators, and Assistants to ensure the successful and on-time performance of Alcoa’s commercial contract obligations specifically related to Alcoa’s sales and trade activities;
  • Ensure all internal and external customers have accurate and timely information;
  • Work closely with the scheduling team and ensure transactions are in accordance with agreements made with the customer;
  • Provide management support to internal and external auditors.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields;
  • Fluent English language is mandatory;
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Windows Office;
  • Experience as a supervisor in the Customer Service area or related areas (Procurement, Commercial, Supply Chain). For candidates that don’t have experience as a supervisor, solid experience as a Senior Analyst (Customer Service/Supply Chain or related areas);
  • In-depth understanding of international trade, export and import requirements contract management, shipping and delivery documentation, and general trading transactions.
  • Proven understanding of international trade, transportation, and relevant transactions.
  • Availability to go to the office regularly (Poços De Caldas – Minas Gerais).
