Quality Assurance Engineer

In Schneider Electric, we are looking for a Quality Engineer in CDMX to join our team in a temporary role with the possibility of extension based on performance.

What will you be doing in this position?

• Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
• Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction and prevention steps.
• Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode)
• Lead Process Audits and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis
• Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on their sector

Qualifications

This may be the next step in your career journey if you have:

• Bachelor in Engineering or Equivalent
• Desirable experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge in quality improvement tools (Six Sigma, Lean, Ishikawa), techniques & models like Poka Yokes
• Strong knowledge in handling of non-conforming product and first piece release
• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Identify Opportunities in manufacturing processes, address six sigma projects to reduce variation.
• Intermediate to advanced level of English
