Roles & Responsibilities Finance Business Partnership- Partner with plant operational leadership to drive Plant Performance
- Collaborate within Finance function as well as cross functionally on numerous topics related to plant performance, plant controlling, tactical and strategic objectives impacting the plant
- Anticipate risk and opportunity on various time horizons - short to medium term and work with business partners to react appropriately
- Ensure awareness, understanding of plant performance metrics - work with plant management team to challenge and drive results in line with the NAM GSC and NA Ops current strategy
Financial Controlling and Budget management- Review & ensure accuracy and validity of the financial statements monthly
- Oversee the month-end close processes for the entity through connecting with the NAM GSC CoCe
- Support and oversee the Quarterly Budget & Forecast Processes, working with business partners and GSC Central Functions to drive forecast accuracy and actions
- Support monthly forecasting or latest thinking efforts with plant management team
- Frequent variance analysis of Actuals & Forecast, present results to various management stakeholders to ensure understanding of performance and support various business decisions
- Work closely with the Mexico and US Schneider Electric Accounting teams and Mexico Territory Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial statements and reporting
Internal Controls, Compliance and Governance- Review, Develop, Implement and Validate the Key Internal Controls for the entity
- Own and support various aspects of the Annual Key Internal Controls campaign
- Ensure accountability and completion progress of Key Internal Control Action plans as applicable
- Support and enable Annual physical inventory, as well as supporting cycle count program
- Support Capital Expenditure lifecycle - including support of product line transfer outs and in - ensure proper CIP controlling, documentation, collaboration with project managers, project sponsors and Mechanical Engineers - ensuring timely capitalization and depreciation supporting strong financial statement integrity
- Support and enforce monthly required governance and compliance / internal control processes, procedures or activities for the entity
- Inventory Control focus ranging from Excess and Obsolete monthly compliance, Cycle Count program oversight and involvement, Work in Process reporting and analysis, in addition to other project specific inventory implications
- Support various internal and external audit requests throughout the year on various topics
Leadership expectations and Team management- Demonstrate strong leadership mindset and actions locally by leading with a curious mindset, strong work ethic and professional communications and engagements
- Manage and develop the skills and competencies of direct reports
- Manage and develop the skills and competencies of indirect reports (NAM GSC CoCe)
Transformation Initiatives- Continued evolution and maturity of the Plant Finance Business Partner Role definition
- Project Denali E2E plant project controlling implementation and development
- Support ERP transformation to SAP S4 Hana in the coming 12-18 months

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting -or- MBA /CPA
- At least 5+ years experience in supply chain, manufacturing or operations controlling, managerial experiences of teams and supply chain, manufacturing or operations Financial business partnership
- Advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, Power Point, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP and SQL) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
- Possess superior Excel skills including charting and ability to manipulate large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP environment (MAPICS is local ERP system currently - experience would be ideal)
- Project controlling or Operational budget management experience
Skills & Abilities- Strong financial/analytical skills with proven business acumen to connect financial performance to business strategy
- Strong ability to work with and influence operations team and others not within direct reporting relationship
- Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
