We are seeking an Order Manager to lead and manage order execution and vendor coordination for Power Quality (PQ) products. This role is a critical link between customers, suppliers, factories, commissioning teams, and internal operations-ensuring customer orders flow efficiently from placement through delivery, installation readiness, and resolution of execution issues.
The Order Manager owns day-to-day order management, material readiness, supplier coordination, and plant execution for assigned programs. This role also coordinates commissioning activities and supports the resolution of post-delivery or execution issues in partnership with field service, engineering, and program leadership. Working closely with the Senior Program Manager, the Order Manager ensures orders remain aligned to program priorities, schedules are achievable, and risks are identified and addressed early. This position is well-suited for a supply chain or operations professional who combines strong material procurement and plant flow expertise with disciplined order and issue execution in a customer-facing environment.
In this role you will support: Order & Execution Leadership- Own end-to-end execution of customer orders for Power Quality products, from order entry through shipment and delivery readiness.
- Manage order backlog, ensure accurate scheduling, and maintain alignment with customer delivery and deployment commitments.
- Serve as the primary operational owner for assigned orders, ensuring scope, schedule, and execution accuracy.
Supplier & Vendor Management- Lead coordination with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time material availability aligned to production and delivery schedules.
- Track supplier performance, identify risks related to material shortages or delays, and drive corrective actions.
- Partner with sourcing and supply chain teams to resolve procurement challenges and support continuity of supply.
Factory, Material Flow & Commissioning Coordination- Work directly with manufacturing sites to align order priorities, production schedules, testing, and capacity constraints.
- Ensure material readiness and effective plant material flow to support predictable production execution.
- Coordinate with commissioning, field service, and engineering teams to support commissioning readiness, timing, and documentation.
- Support resolution of issues identified during factory testing, commissioning, or early site execution, escalating as needed.
Program & Project Support- Support the Senior Program Manager by managing detailed order-level execution and issue tracking.
- Provide accurate order status, material readiness, commissioning inputs, risks, and recovery plans during program reviews.
- Escalate execution, commissioning, or supplier issues that threaten delivery, cost, quality, or customer satisfaction.
Supply Chain & Process Excellence- Apply supply chain best practices to improve planning accuracy, lead time performance, and delivery reliability.
- Maintain accurate data across ERP and execution tools related to orders, materials, delivery milestones, and commissioning readiness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to order management, supplier performance, factory handoffs, and commissioning coordination.
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination- Partner with customer service, commissioning, and program teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and supported.
- Assist in customer communications related to order status, delivery timing, commissioning readiness, and execution issues as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, field service, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
What will make you successful: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of experience in order management, supply chain, operations, materials management, or project execution.
- Strong experience with material procurement, supplier coordination, and manufacturing or plant environments.
- Exposure to commissioning, field service coordination, or post-delivery execution support for industrial or power equipment is a plus.
- Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals including planning, material flow, lead times, and logistics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple orders or execution issues simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and drive resolution through cross-functional coordination.
- Effective communication skills for interfacing with factories, suppliers, commissioning teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; ERP experience required; MS Project a plus.
- Comfortable working in matrixed, global organizations.
