Manufacturing Materials Planning & Control Team Leader to lead supply planning execution, develop talent and ensure the right materials are available at the right time.
What will you do?- Lead, coach and develop a team of Inventory Flow Analysts and Supply Order Replenishment specialists, driving performance, engagement and capability building
- Execute and govern Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes to ensure service level achievement while optimizing inventory
- Manage purchase order portfolios, anticipating supply risks, resolving shortages and correcting inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
- Coordinate material flow across receiving, warehouse and production, ensuring alignment with production plans
- Define and implement raw material requirements based on engineering specifications, BOMs and production schedules
- Act as a key interface with suppliers, production, quality and planning teams to ensure material availability and continuity of operations
What will make you successful?- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in materials planning, materials control, production planning or supply planning within a manufacturing environment
- Previous people leadership experience (at least 2 years), including team management, coaching and performance follow-up
- Strong hands-on experience with MRP/DRP systems and ERP environments (SAP highly preferred)
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actions and decisions
- Proven experience coordinating with suppliers and managing complex delivery schedules
- English level B2-C1 (able to communicate effectively in meetings, write emails and interact with global teams)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments with multiple stakeholders
