Description & Requirements

The Senior Analyst - Information Security will assist the IAM Management in implementing and maintaining MAXIMUS's IAM program, including operational activities, identity enforcement, and access governance. This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all layers of IAM applications. The Senior Analyst will directly contribute to the overall enterprise IAM architecture and the delivery of the security vision and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform complex risk analyses and risk assessment.

- Establish and satisfy Information Assurance (IA) and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.

- Support customers in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.

- Advise information system owners on client/project security policies and requirements for systems.

- Keep abreast of emerging security technologies and make appropriate recommendations regarding the enhancement of the security posture of systems and their implementation.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a broad range of staff and as an effective team member
  • Coach and guide staff and internal clients about Identity Security and risk management topics.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Additional Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentational, including the ability to communicate technical information in understandable business vernacular
  • A thorough understanding and familiarity of core elements of Identity Security and risk management, including the Principal of Least Privilege, the C.I.A. triad, RBAC, and privileged access management.
  • Administrative experience with commercial IAM tools; Cyberark Privilege Cloud and self-hosted Identity Security Platform, and Sailpoint IdentityNOW and IdentityIQ.
  • Currently have, or willing to obtain, a 6c Public Trust clearance.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise directory services and integrations (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML)
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • To effectively work as a team member as well as independently

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
