Sales & Events Coordinator | Ocean Point Inn | East Boothbay, ME
Hourly Wage: $28-$31/hour based on experience + 5% sales commission (subject to stipulations within sales commission agreement.)
Share an Iconic Maine Destination. Create Unforgettable Gatherings.
Ocean Point Inn is a historic boutique oceanside inn with a rich history and a special place in Maine's coastal community. As the property enters its next chapter under new ownership, we're looking for a vibrant, energetic Sales & Events Coordinator to help grow its weddings and events business.
This is an opportunity to join a property at the beginning of an exciting new chapter, helping build its sales culture, strengthen its reputation, and establish its place in the Midcoast Maine events community. Rather than stepping into something fully established, you'll have the opportunity to help shape what comes next.
We're looking for someone who brings personality, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas, and who is energized by the opportunity to build something meaningful. From developing local partnerships and generating new business to bringing weddings, celebrations, and gatherings to life, you'll help introduce more people to this iconic coastal destination while growing its sales and events business from the ground up.
About Ocean Point Inn
Ocean Point Inn is a beloved coastal Maine summer getaway in East Boothbay, set along a rocky shoreline framed by pine forests and rolling hills. Guests come to paddle, swim, fish, explore scenic trails, and unwind by the pool to the sounds of the Atlantic. Nearby Boothbay Harbor offers local shops, waterfront charm, and access to attractions like the Maine State Aquarium and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
With a mix of cottages, rooms, and suites, the inn welcomes families, couples, and groups who return year after year to enjoy its natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, and cherished summer traditions.
The Sales & Events Manager will help build on this legacy by developing local partnerships and growing weddings, celebrations, retreats, and group business.
