Job Overview
The Housekeeper plays an important role in our home away from home, creating a positive experience for our guests by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment . This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and common spaces as assigned, ensuring all areas of the hotel are polished to our high standard of guest satisfaction .
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred; customer service experience preferred .
This position is physically demanding and acts as a great workout! It requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and the ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds .

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and common spaces as assigned, ensuring all areas of the hotel are polished to our high standard of guest satisfaction .
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, suites, and indoor common areas according to required standards within set time limits .
- Strip and refresh beds neatly with clean linens and ensure all guest bathroom supplies and amenities are replenished daily .
- Dust all furniture, fixtures, and frames; clean mirrors, windows, and window frames .
- Clean entire bathrooms including floors, tubs, toilets, sinks, and surfaces by kneeling, bending, and squatting .
- Vacuum carpets thoroughly, utilizing hose attachments for corners and edges .
- Stock housekeeping carts sufficiently based on daily room boards and assignments .
- Safely read and follow safety labels on chemical bottles and understand the proper use of all cleaning equipment .
- Verify that guest room items (lights, climate control, coffee makers) are in good working order and communicate repair needs to maintenance in a timely manner .
- Turn in all articles found in guest rooms to leadership, ensuring items are properly dated, bagged, and tagged .
- Greet guests with a smile and a friendly acknowledgment, ensuring guest privacy standards are strictly respected .
Experience: Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred; customer service experience preferred .
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team .
- A positive "can-do" attitude, professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure .
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays to meet hotel needs .
- Must be authorized to work within the United States.
