General Description:

This position reports to the Environmental Health & Safety Program Manager. Partnering heavily with our Delivery teams, this individual will be supporting multiple geographic regions. The position directs, monitors, and assists with a wide range of analytical, technical, process, procedural, and administrative functions related to safety and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for the provision of general guidance, direction, advice, and requirements in all areas of occupational safety & health, and for specialized expertise in designated industry -specific, program, and technical areas of safety & health. The incumbent will perform field safety audits of clients’ premises, conduct assessments, complete analysis, measurements, and reports as directed, do post-accident investigations, coach, and educate all levels of management and employees, complete all required actions & activities of client and company safety programs, and take all appropriate action to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and internal rules, regulations and standards. Under the direction of the Environmental Health & Safety Program Manager, the Regional Safety Manager is the regional expert and resource in occupational safety & health. As such, the Regional Safety Manager will work closely with all levels of regional and corporate staff to improve or maintain all areas of occupational safety & health performance, to reduce exposures, injuries, and costs, and to identify and maximize business opportunities for the company.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate Safety related information to all levels of the Region(s)
  • Perform client site visits, audits
  • Conduct incident investigations
  • Analyze loss information and identify trends/solutions
  • Provide environmental/occupational health & safety training in a variety of settings and formats in alignment with both company and client site requirements

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Educational experience in the area of occupational safety or a closely related field required
  • 7+ years work experience in safety, occupational health, and/or risk management required, experience in data center, commercial/industrial construction environments and safety protocols is desirable
  • Willingness to complete prescribed and continuing classes, coursework, or other educations and/or certification is required

Special Requirements:

  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • Ideal physical location for candidate in West, Southwest, or MidAtlantic regions
  • Ability to communicate very well both verbally and in writing and with appropriate urgency

Per Pay Transparency Acts:

The pay range for this position is $75, 000 - $115, 000 + annual bonus potential of $5, 000-$15, 000 commiserate with experience.
