Order Selector

As an Order Selector, you'll play a critical role in keeping restaurants, businesses, and foodservice customers stocked and ready to serve. Working in our fast-paced warehouse, you'll accurately select and build customer orders while keeping safety, quality, and efficiency at the center of everything you do. This is a hands-on, active position for someone who likes to stay moving, work as part of a team, and take pride in getting the job done right. THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION STARTING AT 7PM About Us: We are Wagner Foodservice, a one of a kind food distribution company location in Glen Burnie, MD. For over 50 years we have been providing various food products and services to a number establishments within a 100 mile radius. We deliver food to restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc. and we provide service by installing, maintaining, and repairing dishware and beverage equipment. JOB DUTIES: Reviews customer orders. Locates and selects customer order items in warehouse. Builds pallets with prepared orders and places them on loading docks. Performs visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment. Applies shrink wrap to the prepared order. Re-stocks inventory manually or with warehouse equipment when needed. Keeps records of completed orders. Maintains equipment and reports on malfunctions. Keeps the warehouse clean and organized. COMPETENCIES: Great attention to detail. Able to comply with safety management standards. Exhibits accountable and responsibility for performance. Able to communicate efficiently and clearly with team-members. Able to follow health and safety policies and quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to drive an electric pallet jack is a must. Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Work entire shift standing and walking. Previous experience as an order selector preferred. Work overtime and certain holidays as per business necessity.
