Senior ServiceNow Technical Lead Remote Grant Leading Technology is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Lead to provide technical leadership, architecture, system administration, development, integration, and sustainment support for ServiceNow and Nuvolo solutions in a federal environment. This role serves as a senior technical resource for the FAA FRAMES platform and is responsible for maintaining platform stability while designing and implementing enhancements, integrations, and technical solutions that support evolving business requirements. The position provides hands-on ServiceNow/Nuvolo administration while establishing technical standards, providing architectural guidance, mentoring development resources, and supporting knowledge transfer and continuity of the FRAMES environment. This position is remote, and the standard hours are 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. EST. Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, administration, maintenance, and enhancement of ServiceNow and Nuvolo solutions supporting FAA FRAMES Serve as a senior technical resource for ServiceNow/Nuvolo architecture, application development, system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and platform sustainment Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between ServiceNow/Nuvolo and upstream and downstream systems using approved integration technologies and interfaces Provide technical leadership to developers, administrators, analysts, and support personnel Review and approve technical designs, code, configurations, and deployment packages Establish development standards and enforce platform governance practices Lead technical estimation, architecture reviews, and solution planning activities Develop and review complex ServiceNow Flow Designer flows, workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, APIs, scheduled processes, and other platform components Configure, administer, and enhance Nuvolo applications and workflows supporting FAA FRAMES business processesTranslate complex business, functional, and technical requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and supportable ServiceNow/Nuvolo solutions Provide solution architecture and technical design guidance and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with ServiceNow/Nuvolo capabilities, platform standards, security requirements, and long-term maintainability Administer ServiceNow platform components including users, groups, roles, access controls, system properties, scheduled jobs, notifications, application configurations, certificates, integrations, and related system settings Monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex application, configuration, workflow, integration, data, security, and performance issues Lead root-cause analysis and remediation of significant production incidents, recurring defects, technical problems, and platform issues Design, develop, support, and troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, import sets, transform maps, scheduled interfaces, and other approved integration mechanisms Provide technical oversight for data imports, transformations, validation, reconciliation, cleanup, and data-quality activities Lead or support ServiceNow and Nuvolo platform upgrades, patches, releases, instance activities, regression testing, remediation, and post-deployment validation Establish and enforce ServiceNow/Nuvolo development, configuration, coding, security, testing, documentation, and deployment standards Review development and configuration work completed by other team members for quality, maintainability, security, performance, and compliance with platform best practices Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate developers and support consistent development practices across the team Use ServiceNow SDLC capabilities to support user-story management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, Scrum activities, technical tasks, testing, release traceability, and application delivery Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide technical input into user stories, acceptance criteria, estimates, dependencies, solution approaches, and sprint commitments Lead configuration management and technical release activities to ensure changes are appropriately documented, reviewed, tested, approved, deployed, and validated Maintain technical architecture, configuration, integration, dataflow, deployment, operating procedure, and troubleshooting documentation Lead technical knowledge-transfer activities and document existing FRAMES architecture, configurations, integrations, system dependencies, scheduled processes, known issues, and operational procedures Assess inherited or existing platform configurations and identify technical debt, undocumented dependencies, unnecessary customizations, security concerns, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement Coordinate with FAA stakeholders, business analysts, functional resources, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, developers, testers, and product vendors to resolve technical issues and support platform delivery Follow and enforce GLT and client standards for security, accessibility, governance, configuration management, change control, and release management Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered Minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of enterprise application development, platform engineering, system administration, or related information technology experience Minimum of five (7) years of hands-on ServiceNow Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Platform Architect, or Lead Administrator Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities including tables, forms, users, groups, roles, ACLs, workflows, notifications, reports, dashboards, system properties, scheduled jobs, application configuration, and environment management Working knowledge of ServiceNow development technologies including JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, APIs, and integration technologies sufficient to guide development teams, perform code reviews, and support complex troubleshooting activities Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and other upstream and downstream enterprise systems Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, REST APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, or comparable enterprise integration technologies Demonstrated hands-on experience with ServiceNow system administration, troubleshooting, production support, upgrades, releases, and platform maintenance Experience architecting or designing ServiceNow solutions involving multiple applications, integrations, business functions, or user communities Experience diagnosing and resolving complex application, platform, integration, data, workflow, security, and performance issues Experience with configuration management, change management, release management, application lifecycle management, and structured software-development practices Familiarity with ServiceNow SDLC tools and Agile/Scrum delivery practices including user stories, backlog management, sprints, tasks, acceptance criteria, testing, and release traceability Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, conduct design/code reviews, and mentor development resources Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical, architecture, troubleshooting, problem-solving, leadership, and technical documentation skills Must be able to pass a federal background check or obtain a federal public trust clearanceMust live in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Skills: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or other advanced ServiceNow certification Significant hands-on experience administering, configuring, developing, or architecting Nuvolo applications Experience with Nuvolo solutions supporting enterprise asset management, facilities management, property management, work management, maintenance management, or related business processes Experience serving as both a hands-on ServiceNow/Nuvolo administrator and senior developer or technical architect Experience assuming technical responsibility for an existing ServiceNow/Nuvolo environment and supporting platform transition, stabilization, or knowledge transfer Experience supporting federal government clients, particularly FAA or Department of Transportation environments Experience with ServiceNow SDLC/Agile capabilities used to manage user stories, Scrum teams, sprints, testing, and application delivery Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar collaboration, Agile, and technical documentation tools Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, asset/configuration management, Discovery, or related data-governance capabilities Experience with platform architecture, technical governance, configuration management, change management, release management, accessibility, information management, or SOP developmentFamiliarity with federal cybersecurity requirements and security controls applicable to enterprise platforms About Grant Leading Technology: Grant Leading Technology (GLT) is a verified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) government contracting firm.
