Description:

DAP is looking to hire R& D Intern for Summer 2025.

Responsibilities:

The summer intern would work under mentorship of a senior scientist / Supervisor to perform collaborative research for development adhesives or repair products with unique and differentiated properties.

The intern will work on

  • Project is focused on moisture cure chemistry sealants.
  • Will be evaluating a few promising raw materials from past studies for other properties.

Requirements

  • Major: Organic Chemistry
  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
  • General lab skills (weighing materials on benchtop scale, transferring liquids/solids from one container to another, adherence to lab safety rules).
  • Good time management.
  • Data analysis. Organized.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Likes to work with hands-on testing in a laboratory setting.
  • Attention to details, inquisitive, good notes taker, desire to learn and grow.

Pay

  • $17 / hour.
