Job Description

Baltimore Aircoil Company is hiring a R&D Design and Testing Intern in Jessup, MD. This is a full-time position.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Work with BAC's R& D Design & Testing team to support laboratory and testing facility improvement initiatives
  • Support the design, build, and commissioning of laboratory and test infrastructure
  • Create and update CAD models, layouts, drawings, and project documentation
  • Assist with equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities
  • Collect, analyze, and report project and operational data to support engineering decisions
  • Support facility improvement and continuous improvement projects across multiple engineering programs


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Majoring in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Materials preferred)
  • Juniors, Seniors, or MS students preferred
  • Comfortable working in hands-on laboratory/testing environment and using shop and power tools
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD required; experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred but not required
  • Strong interest in facilities, laboratory infrastructure, continuous improvement, or manufacturing systems
  • Proficient in Excel; advanced knowledge of Excel VBA, Matlab, or similar programming language preferred


BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
