A fantastic opportunity for a Meetings & Events Coordinator to join us at Kimpton Clocktower an IHG hotel or similar wording From the largest hotel ballroom in Northwest England to the oak-paneled Directors’ room and Boardrooms, our 17 meeting spaces all have interesting stories to share

You will earn £27, 911.00 salary, plus on 10% half-yearly bonus of annual base salary.

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Meetings & Events Coordinator to join our Events team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for converting and maximising hotel and event enquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from initial contact to event execution.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, actively seek feedback and sales leads, and manage bookings using our in-house system — including creating confirmations and detailed function sheets.

To succeed as a Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will need:

  • To ensure enquiries are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue, including up-selling, F& B and relevant hotel facilities wherever possible
  • To accurately input all enquiries into Sales and Catering system
  • To compile accurate function sheets, distributing weekly and discussing with Operations Team, accordingly, providing updates as required
  • To actively work as part of a team to achieve the department objectives and budget
  • To liaise with clients to ensure that accurate details for each event are obtained and identify how the hotel can facilitate their needs
  • To consistently deliver an excellent service to all guests and clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel, with face to face and telephone meetings.
  • To respond to all M& E enquiries in line with company standards
