Job Description

Tempus is hiring a Manager for Community Based Day Supports in Stoughton, MA. This is a full-time position, requiring a bachelor degree, and paying $75,000.00–$85,000.00/year.

The Manager for Community Based Day Supports oversees the work of multiple teams that are responsible for Delivering services that are person centered and maximize outcome of choice and self-determination within our Community Based Day Supports Program. Develops and administers policies governing scheduling, and programming. Uses data and analytics to establish productivity and quality standards. Manages relationships and performance of external parties performing related activities. Tracks and reports on individual and team performance. Evaluates trends and implements plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Multi-talented individual with strong time management skills and writing skills, strong organizational knowledge within human services and experience working with adults with disabilities, along with supported employment supports. Actively participate as a member of the department management team and the larger organization in support of business objectives.

Essential Duties

  • Program Oversight & Operations
    • Oversee the daily operation of CBDS programs, ensuring alignment with agency mission and regulatory requirements
    • Supervise staff activities, coordinate tasks, and ensure program objectives are met
    • Maintain compliance with state regulations (e.g., DDS, OSHA, Human Rights) and keep all documentation up to date
    • The CBDS Manager is responsibility for coordinating transportation of individuals attending CBDS programs.
  • Staff Supervision & Development
    • Hire, train, and onboard new staff, including conducting interviews and providing onboarding support
    • Manage budgets within allowed spending guidelines
  • Case Management & Individual Support
    • Oversee the implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and data collection
    • Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality Serve as a liaison between day services, residential programs, families, and other service providers
    • Advocate for program needs and promote continuous quality improvement
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure staff maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, OSHA)
    • Promote a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for participants
    • The CBDS Manager will assume a role in DDS contracting as directed by the Director of Community Services and/or the CEO
    • The CBDS Manager will perform all other related duties as directed by the Director of Community Services and/or the CEO

    • Support overall mission and objectives of Tempus Unlimited
    • Must report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (D.P.P.C.).
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Community Services

Required Experience

  • 2–6+ years in human services, disability support, or related field, with supervisory experience
  • Experience in Human Services, Disability Services, or Nonprofit organization preferred.
  • Obtains and maintains the necessary MAP Certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Obtains and maintains required CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment
  • Successful completion of all state and agency-mandated training courses

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional program space and at times, out in the community. This role routinely involves use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
