Job Description

Tempus is hiring a Data Entry and Validation Processor in Stoughton, MA. This is a full-time position, and requiring a high school.

The Data Entry and Validation Processor plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely payroll processing. This position is responsible for reviewing, entering, and updating timesheets and related documentation in accordance with Tempus quality standards and FI contract requirements. The role focuses on handling payroll matters that may require research and coordination across departments.

Essential Functions

Data Entry and Processing

  • Enter and update new hire lists.
  • Review and process Paid Time-Off (PTO) timesheets.
  • Review and process Consumer/Participant open, as well as re-open suspensions.
  • Confirm or resolve Timesheet and Timesheet Line Item Errors
  • Process payroll corrections and garnishments.
  • Research and process Reached Budget Limit Consumer and Participant accounts.

Issue Resolution and Communications

  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues that require additional analysis or collaboration with other departments.
  • Use Communications to document findings and resolution steps.
  • Communicate/update effectively with departments and to ensure timely resolution of payroll inquiries.
  • Review and process incoming emails and faxes related to payroll matters.

General Support

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to payroll processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Payroll Management Supervisor.
