Job Description:

School Hours | Monday - Friday | Pay: $2, 080 - $2, 337 per week

Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers at partnering school districts to help students with special needs succeed - academically, socially, and emotionally.

Every day, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
• Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management

Education (must have one of the following):

• A minimum of 60 hours of college credits, or
• Associate's degree or higher, or
• Passing score on Missouri Para
• Pro or Paraprofessional Assessment, or
• Completion of Missouri's online Substitute training program

Contract Details:

• Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
• Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
• Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
• Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
• Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
• Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
