The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.
Request: The Educational Services team is seeking an intern to help in any of the areas outlined below. This could include, building online courses, creating digital learning materials, updating current course materials, creating executive level reporting, or marketing the Educational Services team offerings in order to drive immediate results for our customers, partners, and employees and provide assistance and value to the team.
Required Skills: - Individual contributor with hands on skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adept with technology and quick to learn new technologies
- Ability to write effective copy and instructional text
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Effective listener and communicator who not only accepts constructive feedback but also applies it
- A self-starter who identifies problems, evaluates options, and creatively implements and initiates solutions
Desired Skills: - Knowledge of Financial industry
- Experience with social medial platforms
- Strong visual/graphic design skills with experience in video capture and editing, graphic design, and interactive design
- Experience with HTML
- Broad knowledge of online learning
- Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models
Primary Responsibilities and projects would include: New Release Content Developer
Identify new content in upcoming release
Work with product and development to generate material/videos
Create videos - may be working with product or developing on their own
Edit videos in line with Ed Services standards
Produce videos for internal and client use
Dashboard Reporting
Create an executive level dashboard for Ed Services metrics (to be updated quarterly)
Use reporting available in Leaning Management Systems (LMS) to feed dashboard
Ensure completeness and integrity of data
Additional Responsibilities could include any/all of the following: (will depend on skills of incoming intern):
Content Development Process
Create additional training and information around new features
Identifying gaps in content by reviewing and collaborating with Product and Professional Services
Produce session transcripts
Develop eLearning Course(s)
Introduction to Charles River (company)
Intro to Financial Services
What to expect in CRU
Own Social Media Efforts
Create Social Media marketing plan (in collaboration with Marketing intern?)
Develop marketing campaigns to clients
Increase CRD Academy visibility
Salary Range: $41, 600 - $65, 000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
