Who we are looking forWe are seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious Vice President to join the Corporate Strategy team. Applicants will participate in complex strategy projects, working with senior leaders across the organization. Strong candidates for this role will have an ability and desire to think critically and problem solve. Typical projects could include strategy development, analyzing fintech opportunities for partnerships/acquisitions, market entry or exit, market segmentation, product / customer positioning and profitability, and capital investment decisions.

Across the globe, institutional investors rely on State Street to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability. To make that happen, the Corporate Strategy team is at the center of setting the firm-wide strategic direction and evaluating some of the organization's most critical strategic questions. State Street's Corporate Strategy team provides strategic support and insight across State Street's diverse business lines (e.g., investment management, custody services, data & analytics solutions, FX & treasury) to drive effective decision-making and action by senior management and the Board. This is a great opportunity to join a small, high-impact team with direct exposure to State Street's senior management and Executive Committee. The group has a strong track-record of people migrating from Global Strategy to leadership roles across the firm.

What you will be responsible forAs Vice President of Corporate Strategy you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the strategic issues faced by the business
- Running projects designed to assess and address those strategic issues: from framing up-front work plans to developing a project storyline to executing on the analyses and steps outlined in the plans
- Developing hypotheses and distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior management
- Communicating results and findings to senior management
- Forming and owning relationships with key business and finance partners
- Engaging in "quick hit" deliverables for senior leadership
- Identifying business investment needs for purposes of financial planning and subsequent tracking
- Managing work across the team and mentoring less-experienced team members in a collaborative and challenging team environment focused on development and growth

Education & Preferred Qualifications- 6+ years of work experience. Top-tier strategy consulting experience preferred, particularly with exposure to Financial Services
- MBA preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and experience with generative AI tools

Salary Range: $115, 000 - $190, 000 Annual
