Description:

The VP, Chief of Staff for the North America Portfolio Leads reports to the Chief of Staff for North America and plays a critical role in the daily management of any and all administrative aspects of the organization s/he supports. S/he works to execute against their strategic and tactical initiatives. S/he acts as the central point of contact for business management across the North America organization, providing management support, and is responsible for engaging all business management functions for daily execution and delivery.

S/he ensures strategic alignment and consistency of messaging within the unit and coordinates across IS to ensure connection with the governance and administrative processes of the wider organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Acts as representative / proxy for the Portfolio Leads on necessary committees
  • Supports key strategic messaging to all partners in conjunction with Internal Communication partners
  • Manages the expense saving initiatives and the headcount budget and approval process in coordination with the CAO central teams
  • Supports strategic, tactical, and ad-hoc projects (e.g. business strategy, transformation, and cross-functional initiatives)
  • Builds strong relationships across Investment Services to drive an array of efforts
  • Supports the completion of performance review processes
  • Works with Business Head and Finance to manage the mid-year forecast and/or budget processes for the portfolios including team capacity and resource allocation/staffing and resource pipelines
  • Supports the workforce development needs of their division including training and engagement

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 8-10 years relevant business experience;
  • Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field
  • Significant experience in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience dealing with financial and workforce data and driving strategy around this data
  • Strong project management, quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral to all levels of an organization
  • Business acumen and a general business knowledge across all business lines.
