Description:

Schneider Electric has a new opportunity for an Embedded AI Co-Op or Intern. This candidate will work with On-Device AI topics, based in Andover MA. We are open for a Janaury or Summer 2025 start date, full or part-time.

What will you do?
  • Understand the data pipeline from embedded device to cloud and communication between them
  • Analyze data of similar devices available in cloud platform, identify patterns and derive insights
  • Create machine learning models that can run on embedded or edge devices using available dataset
  • Optimize and Deploy ML models into the firmware of embedded devices for inference
  • Evaluate models using appropriate loss functions and fine tune the models by retraining
  • Work on low level embedded devices and debug the firmware for issues
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Programming Languages such as Python, C/C++ etc.,
  • Standard AI Frameworks or Libraries such as TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch, Keras etc.,
  • Python Modules such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib etc.,
  • Embedded/Edge Device model such as TinyML, SLM etc.
  • Preferred Qualification: Experience in Embedded C
