For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $115, 000 - $125, 000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits), flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

We create consistent, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for our users.
As a Content Strategist / UX Writer within our Digital Design Team, you will play a key role in shaping the language of our digital products. You'll be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging content that enhances the user experience and guides users through our interfaces with ease. Your writing will help ensure consistency and clarity across our products and services.
You will be responsible for: Content Development - Writing and editing UI text, microcopy, and interface content to improve usability and engagement.
- Creating and maintaining documentation such as guidelines, tutorials, and best practices to support designers and developers.
- Developing user-centered content that explains complex ideas in a simple and accessible way.
Collaboration - Working closely with designers, user researchers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content meets user needs and product goals.
- Participating in design reviews and contributing to discussions on product language and tone.
- Working with design ops and product teams on improving workflows and tools related to content.
User Guidance - Creating onboarding materials, FAQs, and helpful resources to support product adoption.
- Helping define tone and voice across different user journeys and touchpoints.
Content Strategy - Contributing to the development and evolution of our content strategy across products.
- Gathering user feedback and usage insights to continuously improve content relevance and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance - Ensuring all content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with our style guide.
- Regularly auditing existing content to maintain consistency and high standards.
- Supporting the translation process and doing visual checks.
This job has been tailored for you if... - You have proven experience as a UX Writer, Technical Writer, or in a similar role within a digital product or design environment.
- You write clearly and efficiently, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
- You're able to translate complex concepts into user-friendly content.
- You understand UX principles and user-centered design.
- You are familiar with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, or similar.
- You are organized, autonomous, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- You enjoy working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Even better if you have: - Experience writing for digital products or complex platforms.
- B2B and B2C experience.
- Exposure to user research or usability testing.
- Familiarity with updating content via static websites (e.g., Visual Studio Code).
- Experience developing or maintaining a content style guide.
- Curiosity for new trends in UX writing and content design.
