Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however other duties may be assigned based on business need:

  • Responsible for developing new client relationships and retains existing client relationships with an emphasis on bringing new relationships to the Bank. Meets with prospective and existing clients at their places of business or wherever convenient to the client to determine their needs, sell products and services, sign documents, and to service the client’s existing banking needs. Monitors changing needs and recommends strategies that utilize company products and services.
  • Works across multiple divisions to develop and implement product marketing and sales strategies to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships.

Networks with COI’s to develop new business referral sources and opportunities. Have knowledge of all areas of the bank to be able to make referrals to all division of the Bank.

  • Stays abreast of relevant Bank policies and procedures by attending regular training sessions (i.e., Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, etc.) Develops and maintains updated knowledge on regulations and economic factors that impact the industries in which the Division operates.
  • Compliance with banking laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to position.
  • Regular attendances is essential to this position
Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business or finance/or 7 to 10 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience includes:

  • Experience in Banking with exposure to Lending.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; presentation skills needed to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and industry specific software.
  • Practiced in agile business operation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations using excellent interpersonal, negotiating and problem solving skills.

Licenses:

Salem five requires each SVP Private Banking, to be federally registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and individual records to be in good standing. Individual NMLS ID’s renew annually.

Salary Range: $140, 000 - $170, 000

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, and performance. This range may be modified in the future.
