Rockland Trust is seeking a Treasury Management Inside Sales Officer to join the team in Brockton.

Description:

Rockland Trust is currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales professional. The deliverables for this role include outbound calling to existing customers and potential new customers from a prospect list for the purpose of deposit retention and deposit acquisition; servicing clients to retain revenue; cross-selling additional services such as Treasury Management. The incumbent will be part of a team that will include Treasury Management Officer and Relationship Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails daily to engage with decision makers and key stakeholders in assigned companies
  • Utilize upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Articulate compelling value propositions to clients
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ financial needs and pain points to tailor solutions effectively
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Officers and Relationship Managers to present comprehensive offerings to clients
  • Utilize Salesforce tool to track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress
  • Meet and/or exceed established calling targets, portfolio growth and retention, and cross-sell

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the financial services or banking industry
  • Strong understanding of commercial deposit products and treasury management services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Goal oriented mindset with a record of accomplishment of meeting and/or exceeding targets
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM tools
  • Ability to manage through a changing business landscape, anticipating issues and aggressively drive initiatives to ensure results
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree
