As part of our continued investment in digital transformation, we are seeking a Digital Innovation Analyst to support enterprise-wide innovation initiatives with a particular focus on AI-driven transformation, next-generation payments, and modern banking capabilities.

Position Summary

The Digital Innovation Analyst supports the execution of the bank’s digital innovation strategy, working closely with the SVP/Director of Digital Innovation and cross-functional partners across the organization. This role assists with research, analysis, governance enablement, pilot execution, and value tracking for emerging technologies, with artificial intelligence as a core focus area.

The Analyst plays a critical role in helping translate strategic vision into actionable initiatives, supporting the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Digital Innovation, and enables responsible adoption of AI, realtime payments, and modern digital capabilities across treasury, cash management, backoffice operations, and clientfacing channels.

Objectives

  • Support execution of the bank’s digital and AI innovation strategy
  • Enable responsible, well-governed adoption of emerging technologies
  • Assist in managing the innovation portfolio and operating model
  • Help modernize treasury, cash management, payments, back‑office operations and digital banking capabilities
  • Promote AI literacy, digital awareness, and a culture of innovation across the organization

Responsibilities

Digital Innovation & Portfolio Support

  • Support execution of enterprise digital and AI initiatives
  • Assist in managing the innovation portfolio, including progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Coordinate cross‑functional efforts across business, technology, operations, risk, and HR
  • Prepare executive‑ready materials such as briefs, business cases, dashboards, and updates
  • Support measurement of ROI and value realization

AI & Emerging Technology Innovation

  • Support identification and development of AI‑enabled use cases, including automation, analytics, personalization, fraud detection, and generative AI
  • Assist in evaluating AI tools, platforms, and vendors, including data and governance considerations
  • Help translate business problems into AI‑enabled solution concepts

Payments, Treasury & Operations Modernization

  • Support innovation across treasury, cash management, and payments, including real‑time and next‑generation payments
  • Assist with back‑office modernization initiatives across operations, finance, risk, compliance, and internal services
  • Research emerging payment and infrastructure models with awareness of regulatory and risk considerations

Digital Channels & Client Experience

  • Support initiatives across digital banking channels (online, mobile, portals, APIs)
  • Assist in analyzing client journeys to identify opportunities for automation and improved experience

Governance, CoE & Enablement

  • Support AI use case intake, documentation, and governance artifacts
  • Maintain inventories of AI initiatives and pilots
  • Assist with AI standards, playbooks, and pilot‑to‑production readiness
  • Support CoE operations, reporting, and leadership updates
  • Provide direct enablement to the Director of Digital Innovation

AI Literacy & Change Enablement

  • Support AI literacy and change initiatives in partnership with HR and Learning teams
  • Help translate technical and risk concepts into business‑ and workforce‑friendly guidance
  • Promote responsible and well‑governed innovation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in banking, fintech, consulting, analytics, product, or innovation-focused roles
  • Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation
  • Understanding of banking concepts, particularly payments, treasury, or cash management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
