Job Description
Maximus is hiring a Backend Software Developer in Springfield, MA. This is a full-time position.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- 7 years of overall experience in the functional area. Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
- 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests.
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
- 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
- Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
- 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
- 3 years of recent back-end web design and development experience.
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development/communication, and system integrations.
- 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- DCWF Code: 632 Intermediate.
- Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly required.
- Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
