The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for standard accounting clerical duties in the areas of accounts payable, transaction processing, sales tax, business licenses and capital accounting. Responsibilities (1st Shift) - Posts detailed entries to accounting records and handles routine transactions such as sales tax exemption certificate processing, vendor invoice processing, disbursements, voucher preparations and remittances - Prepares standard journal and ledger entries - Performs & verifies various standard accounting entries for financial data processing system; reconciles report discrepancies and problems - Other duties as assigned Requirements - High School Diploma/GED is required - Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus - 2 to 4 years Clerical Accounting experience is required - Proficiency in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is required - Proficiency in Excel is required - Proficiency in Access a plus Why you will enjoy working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
