As Kimberly-Clark forms a strategic partnership with Suzano to create a world-class international tissue and professional products company, this role is proposed to transfer to the new venture once the transaction closes, anticipated in mid-2026, subject to consultation and other applicable legal requirements. About You

We are recruiting a Tax Accounting and Reporting Manager who will provide expertise in the Tax Accounting Center of Excellence for the Suzano / Kimberly-Clark (“KC”) IFP Joint Venture including its related advisory functions. This position reports directly to the Tax Accounting Manager.
Key internal customers include the Head of Tax, Tax Accounting Manager, members of the other COEs in Tax, the Tax Accounting functions in Suzano and KC, and business operating unit financial and legal personnel internationally. Customers expect expertise on tax accounting related issues in an ethical, accurate and innovative manner. Customers also expect comprehensive tax analysis involving complex issues in a timely manner and accurate income tax accounting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Employ the Tax Team’s core values as guiding principles, treating others with the respect you expect from them regardless of individual differences, to create an environment in which everyone is motivated to do their best and improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
Review all procedures and comply with SOX control requirements related to tax accounting.
Prepare and/or review the JV’s consolidated tax accounts in its financial reporting, including review of supporting workpapers. Cause tax accounting effects to receive proper consideration in decision making at the corporate, division and subsidiary levels by effectively providing expertise, counsel and recommendations.
Provide assistance to the Tax Accounting Manager in converting US GAAP tax accounting to IFRS.
Completion and review of any topside entries made to HFM in relation to tax accounting.
Provide advice, counsel and training to the JV’s foreign affiliate personnel in tax accounting matters, including use of CCH Integrator.
Provide counsel and advice to the Head of Tax and senior management on effects of tax and accounting rules, regulations and issues as they relate to the JV or to specific business decisions.
Keep abreast of proposed and enacted tax accounting rules and regulations, legislation, court decisions and tax audit outcomes that affect the JV in order to ensure the tax accounting for these changes are correctly reported.
Exhibit teamwork by reallocating resources to staff during workload peaks within and across the wider tax department and providing assistance to other finance teams relating to processes not owned by the Tax Accounting COE, as needed.
Leverage technology to increase efficiencies. The JV’s tax processes will be improved by individuals being proactive and their skills leveraged within and across COEs to standardize processes, increase efficiencies, and assist in meeting team objectives.
Maintain a personal Development Plan to ensure continuous improvement of professional skills. This requires an annual professional development meeting and adherence to the personal plan agreed upon in those meetings. Expand educational scope through involvement with tax professional organizations and service provider networking opportunities.
Maintain a proficiency in desktop computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, and an in-depth knowledge of CCH Integrator, including any enhancements, license changes or upgrades to that system.
Assist the Tax Team in special projects, as requested by the Tax Accounting Manager. Special projects may include, but are not limited to, business changes, development of systems or procedures to improve the efficiency of the Tax Team.
Communicate within and across all necessary departments. Communicate fully in a timely, informative, and accurate manner with superiors and others who have a need to know. Maintain excellent oral, written and presentational skills. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the JV.
Conduct all activities in a safe manner and maintain safety in the general work environment.
Required Qualification:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required; a major in accounting or finance is preferred. A higher-level accounting qualification (e.g. ACA or CIOT, or local equivalent) though not required, would be a significant asset in this position.
Good tax accounting research and analytical skills, solid knowledge of legal and accounting aspects of tax matters, and a broad knowledge of the JV are helpful, but not required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax (accounting or compliance preferred) or accounting (with a large multinational corporation preferred).
Have an understanding of the local GAAP and tax regimes in jurisdictions in which the JV’s foreign affiliates operate. A working knowledge of CCH Integrator is strongly preferred but not required.
The ability to work with teams of professionals in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment under strict time parameters and the ability to communicate technical information to a varied audience are critical skills for the person in this position.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within the JV.
