Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Are you ready to take on an exciting leadership role in labeling and IFU development? DePuy Synthes is seeking an individual with strong leadership skills to join our team as a Labeling Lead. This is a fantastic chance to create a significant impact and contribute to our world-class organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of specialists responsible for the development of labels and IFUs for new product introductions as well as lifecycle projects, ensuring all work is completed flawlessly and on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine labeling and IFU requirements and successfully implement them.
  • Develop and maintain labeling specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external vendors in the on time delivery of goods and services.
  • Responsible for the tracking and reporting of performance metrics
  • Understands and follows the New Product Development and Life Cycle
  • Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques
  • Actively supervises the work of multiple direct reports.
  • Identifies and eliminates obstacles to project plans & business goals
  • Train and mentor team members on processes and procedures.
  • Continuously evaluate and support the improvement of business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills, able to prioritize and meet objectives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
  • Prefer experience in labeling within the medical device or other regulated industry.
  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$100, 000 - $172, 500

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
